Kate had the misfortune of losing her Pandora Charms in the grass of her front yard. With a quick movement of her wrist, the safety latch on her Pandora Bracelet broke and the charms flew everywhere. Kate managed to find some of the pandora charms herself, some of them we’re found some distance away, but there we’re still 4 beads which remained elusive in the thick grass. Kate called me over to search for her lost pandora charms with my metal detector. This job was a little tricky as a couple of the charms contained very little gold content, which my metal detector does not like. About 40 minutes after beginning the search, all of Kates Pandora Charms we’re back in her possesion

A few months back I received a phone call from Sree, who may have lost his gold bracelet in the garden below his balcony. I went out to
search for the bracelet without any success. Last week I received another call from Sree, this time his wife had lost a gold ring in the same garden. Being Hindu, Sree and his wife put their gold items in flowers, and after prayer they throw the flowers into the garden below their balcony. Sree explained this is a Hindu tradition. One would figure this would be an easy job for me, looking for gold in a small garden area. But as luck would have it, this garden is full of plants with long bladed leafs which makes metal detecting very difficult. On my second visit to search for the ring, I noticed the garden was still flattened from my last visit. I began detecting the area again, and got a strong signal about 5 minutes into the search. The signal turned out to be the gold ring. Since I had driven all the way to Homebush, (west of Sydney) I decided to keep searching for the gold bracelet I had no luck finding the previous time. About half an hour later, I received a very faint signal and was parting the blade leaves to one side. Just as I was about to pull out my pin pointer, Sree saw the bracelet hiding between the leaves and grabbed it. As you can imagine, Sree and his wife we’re very happy to have both their gold ring and bracelet back in possession

Jill lost her beautiful Ruby Gold bracelet which was a 25th wedding anniversary gift from her ex-husband. Not sure exactly where the bracelet
dropped, Jill called me to search her backyard. The day Jill noticed the bracelet missing, she had been gardening…and had also been playing tennis earlier on. I organised to meet Jill at her house in the beautiful suburb of Mosman, on Sydney’s lower north shore. Just as I arrived at Jill’s house, I received a phone call. Jill had found the bracelet lying on some pavers in her yard. As keen as I was to hunt for Jill’s bracelet, I was very happy that it was now back into her possesion

Sorry I have been lazy updating the site lately. Last week I managed to wake up early and catch a low tide at a beach South of Sydney. As much as I love going out to find lost items for customers, I also love getting out to the beach and hunt for myself. This is my way of relaxing. Anyway, on this particular mornings hunt, I found this interesting looking ladies bracelet under a few feet of water. Unfortunately there are no engravings on the inside of the bracelet. If you believe you are the owner of the bracelet, and can prove to me the bracelet is yours, I would be more than happy to return it

I received a phone call from Rick last week. Rick was doing some work on the back of his boat. As he was throwing rubbish from his boat to his dingy, Rick watched helplessly as his gold bracelet fell off his wrist and went flying through the air, and into the water. Unfortunately this bracelet was very special to Rick. It was a gift from his wife over 33 years ago. And Rick also mentioned to me that he had planned on passing the gold bracelet down to his grand son, who seemed to love playing with the bracelet. The bracelet was lost in about 2-3 meters of water, so unfortunately I was unable to help out. But, Rick had already organised a diver, Josh. Josh attempted searching for the lost bracelet without the help of a metal detector. The water where the gold bracelet fell, was very murky, with a mud bottom. Josh had no luck finding the bracelet, and mentioned to Rick that he really needs the help of a metal detector. After a quick search on google for an underwater metal detector, Rick found my website. I met Rick and Josh down at Woodford Bay with my equipment, a beautiful spot near Greenwich and Lane Cove on Sydney’s North Shore. Josh did not have experience with metal detecting, but he is an expert diver. After a quick metal detecting lesson, Josh was under water, searching for Rick’s lost bracelet. After a good 3 hour search, Josh came up empty handed. I still had one plan up my sleeve. My scuba diving friend Matt was available on the weekend, and willing to head down to Woodford bay in an attempt to find Rick’s gold bracelet. Matt is still learning the art of metal detecting, which is actually a lot more complex than one would think. Finding a signal is easy, but digging up what is causing that signal 3 meters under water, with zero visibility is not an easy feat. I was unable to meet Matt and Rick on the weekend, so Matt picked up my metal detecting gear and gave it his best. I am not sure how long the hunt lasted, but unfortunately Matt was unable to find Rick’s bracelet either. So after 3 attempts, the gold bracelet still sits at the bottom of
Woodford Bay. I really feel for Rick, who desperately wanted his Bracelet back on his wrist. But I am sure Rick feels a sense of closure knowing he did everything physically possible to retrieve the lost bracelet. I have not given up on Ricks bracelet yet. When I am unable to find a customers lost item, I return in my spare time to continue the search. I am hoping to get back down to Woodford Bay some time in the future to continue searching for Rick’s Gold Bracelet.

While hunting Brighton-Le-Sands Beach recently, I found what is most likely a men’s silver bracelet. As pictured, the bracelet is quite large, and fits very loosely around my wrist. I am guessing the owner was a larger person. There is only one small engraving on the clasp. If you have lost a silver bracelet at Brighton Beach, and can prove this by identifying the small engraving, have a photo, or can tell me exactly where on Brighton Beach the bracelet was lost…I will greatfuly return the lost bracelet back to you.

I received an email from Jen stating she had lost a silver necklace with a wedding ring attached to it. And sadly, it was her mother’s wedding ring that had been lost. The wedding ring and necklace had been lost in the sand at Stanwell Park beach. Jen desperately attempted to find the lost valuables herself without any success. I mentioned I would be more than happy to look for the lost ring/necklace, but unfortunately Jen was unable to make it down to Stanwell Park, and show me the area where she thought her Ring & Bracelet we’re lost. I asked Jen to goto Google Maps, and plot on the map where she beleives she lost the items. She quickly emailed me the treasure map, and off I went down the south coast. The $100 Call Out Fee was not an issue for Jen, as she was desperate to retrieve her mother’s wedding ring. After studying the map that had been emailed to

Jen's Treasure Map
me, I found the spot where Jen had been sitting. I setup a search perimeter, and began the hunt. Much to my suprise (and Jens) I found the ring/bracelet within about 5 minutes of searching. About a minute later I received a phone call from Jen. She was calling to give me more information on where the ring/bracelet could be…when I interupted her to give her the good news. As you can imagine, Jen was more than estatic. The chances of finding an item so small, plotted on a google satellite image are very slim, but luck was with us on this day :) And thank you kindly Jen for such a generous reward.
