Large Gold Ring Lost At Balmoral Beach

March 10th, 2010 by Brad Lovell

I am currently working on a job trying to find a large gold ring which was lost in about 2 meters of water at Balmoral Beach. The ring is incredibly sentimental to the owner. The area the ring was lost is in a spot where many people swim each morning. If by any chance a swimmer has picked up a LARGE gold ring, please get in contact with me ASAP. The owner is willing to pay a large reward for its return. In the search for the gold ring, I did manage to find a silver ring with a green rock. If you beleive you are the owner of this ring, please contact me.

A Run Of Bad Luck

December 10th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

Early on in the week I was reading a post from my friend Billy in Western Australia. Billy offers a similar service to myself in the Perth/WA region (Lost Treasure). He mentioned that in his last 5 searches he has come up empty handed for his customers. I felt bad for him, knowing this frustration first hand. I myself had been having lots of luck recently, recovering clients rings underwater which I thought I would never find. But this week my luck has changed. My last 5 jobs have finished with my tail between my legs. Why am I mentioning failures for potential customers to see? Wouldn’t this be bad for business?? Perhaps…but I just want to make it clear that I am mortal. I cannot find every lost item. But I can assure you of this… every job is important to me. I am stubborn and take each and every search as a personal challenge. When I can’t find the lost item, I am just as disappointed as my customers.

This is the breakdown for the week…

Lost Ring In Water At Shark Bay: Jamie lost his grandfather’s wedding ring whilst swimming at Shark Bay at Vaucluse. After a 2 hour underwater search in the area Jamie beleived the ring to have dropped, I came out of the water empty handed. Jamie was visiting from the UK, and will be back home by now. But if anyone does happen to find an 18k Wedding Ring at Shark Bay Vaucluse, please contact me! Jamie is willing to pay a reward for its return.

Lost Engagement Ring Coogee Beach: Elizabeth lost her white gold diamond engagement ring while swimming in chest deep water at the north end of Coogee Beach. I spent the afternoon searching for it without any luck. Please, if any metal detector guys do manage to find an engagement ring that matches this description, please contact me so I can put you in contact with Elizabeth. She is happy to pay a generous reward for its return.

Lost Wedding Ring Shelly Beach: Simon lost his wedding ring while swimming on the rocks side of Shelly Beach. I made two attempts at searching for this ring but to no avail. This area is very common with snorklers and divers. If anyone has managed to pick up a wedding ring, that is half gold/half silver joining together in a wave pattern, please contact me. As always, a reward is offered for the return of this ring.

Lost Gold Bracelet HomeBush: Sree beleives he may have lost his gold bracelet while throwing flowers off his balcony into the garden below. I searched the garden area best I could for a couple of hours, and was unable to find the bracelet :(

Lost Diamond Stud Earring Concord: Natalie lost her Diamond Stud earring while hanging clothes on the line. She felt it fall off and searched the grass area with no luck. My Metal Detectors struggle picking up stud earrings, which means I spend the search on my hands and knees, combing the grass with my pinpointing device. Natalie’s husband came out and mentioned he had since mowed the lawn. Anyway after 2 hours plus searching, I had no luck finding the earring.

Lost Silver Bracelet Found At Brighton-Le-Sands Beach

March 9th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

While hunting Brighton-Le-Sands Beach recently, I found what is most likely a men’s silver bracelet. As pictured, the bracelet is quite large, and fits very loosely around my wrist. I am guessing the owner was a larger person. There is only one small engraving on the clasp. If you have lost a silver bracelet at Brighton Beach, and can prove this by identifying the small engraving, have a photo, or can tell me exactly where on Brighton Beach the bracelet was lost…I will greatfuly return the lost bracelet back to you.

Lost Mens Tribal Ring Found At Balmoral Beach

March 9th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

I am looking for the owner of a lost mens silver ring I found while metal detecting at Balmoral Beach near Mosman. The ring is very large, and heavy, and has what looks like a tribal pattern embossed on it. Please contact me if you believe you are the owner of this ring. If you are able to describe the inside engravings, where on Balmoral beach the ring was lost, or have a photo wearing this ring..I will be happy to return it. Sorry, but I need to be very careful when returning rings. I need to be 100% sure I am returning the ring to the correct owner. Unfortunately we live in a world where not everyone is totally honest.

Lost Silver & Gold Ring At Shelly Beach

March 7th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

I went for a treasure hunt a few nights ago with my friend Matt. We managed to dig up many different things including two sets of keys, a mobile phone, a Disney pendant, two lead weights, lots of coins including an old penny, and two rings. Matt is already working on finding the owner of the lost mobile phone and keys, so now it is my turn to find the lost owners of the two rings. One is a ladies silver ring (as pictured), and the other is a men’s gold wedding band. If you have lost a ring at Shelly beach near Manly, and they look like the the photo above..please contact me. If you are able to describe the engravings or prove the ring is yours, I will happily return it :)

Lost Ring Found At Shell Cove - Rosherville Reserve

March 4th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

After spending the entire day in front of the computer working, I decided to hop in the car and do some treasure hunting at a beach I always thought was named Chinamans Beach. But after looking at google maps, seems the real name is Shell Cove. After about an hour of hunting and relaxing at this beautiful cove, I found someone’s lost Silver/Torquoise Ring in the sand (as pictured). If you are the owner of this ring, and you can identify the engraving, I would be very happy to return the ring to you. Please contact me bradl@bigpond.net.au.

Wedding Ring & Necklace Lost At Stanwell Park Beach

February 5th, 2009 by Brad Lovell

I received an email from Jen stating she had lost a silver necklace with a wedding ring attached to it. And sadly, it was her mother’s wedding ring that had been lost. The wedding ring and necklace had been lost in the sand at Stanwell Park beach. Jen desperately attempted to find the lost valuables herself without any success. I mentioned  I would be more than happy to look for the lost ring/necklace, but unfortunately Jen was unable to make it down to Stanwell Park, and show me the area where she thought her Ring & Bracelet we’re lost. I asked Jen to goto Google Maps, and plot on the map where she beleives she lost the items. She quickly emailed me the treasure map, and off I went down the south coast. The $100 Call Out Fee was not an issue for Jen, as she was desperate to retrieve her mother’s wedding ring.  After studying the map that had been emailed to

Jen's Treasure Map

me, I found the spot where Jen had been sitting. I setup a search perimeter, and began the hunt. Much to my suprise (and Jens) I found the ring/bracelet within about 5 minutes of searching. About a minute later I received a phone call from Jen. She was calling to give me more information on where the ring/bracelet could be…when I interupted her to give her the good news. As you can imagine, Jen was more than estatic. The chances of finding an item so small, plotted on a google satellite image are very slim, but luck was with us on this day :) And thank you kindly Jen for such a generous reward.
