Testimonials

I have added this page in an attempt to gain the trust of potential customers.  When I mention to people or friends that I help recover lost jewellery with my metal detecting equipment, the first question they ask is why don’t you just keep the recovered valuables and sell them?  I am sure this has gone through the mind of many of my customers as I search and handle their lost valuable items. I realise it is just human nature to question this, especially since I am a stranger to most of my customers. My answer to this is simple. It is not in my nature (plus it is not good for business!). I am not a religious or spiritual person, but I feel very strongly about returning things to their rightful owners. Like my good friend Chris in Canada says, every Ring has a story. And once that ring is lost, the story ends. Well it is my job to return that ring to its owner, so the story can continue. Below are a few testimonials from previous customers who have used my services.

Hi Brad,

Now that the events of the past couple of days have really sunk in, I’d like to thank you again for your huge efforts in finding my wedding band. I experienced the lowest of lows when I lost it in the water, thinking it was gone forever. But when a friend told me of people with underwater metal detectors offering their services to find lost rings, a small glimmer of hope returned to me. After looking you up and explaining to you what had happened I felt reassured that, at the very least, I’d have someone as dedicated as yourself on the job looking for my ring, and I could have closure one way or the other.

I also appreciate your total honesty in explaining to me right off the bat that the chances of recovering my ring in the circumstances were admittedly fairly low, but you would still do your very best. I’m glad I took you up on the offer because, after all your hard work, you’ve returned to my wife and I something that was irreplaceable and so special to us! Words can’t convey how happy and relieved we both are. Thank you for helping us and I hope others out there will be encouraged to give you a call because you just can’t replace the sentimental meaning of that original wedding ring!

Cheers,

Jason

Hi Brad,

My name is Lily, im Jason’s wife. I just like to say a huge “THANK YOU” to you for the incredible service you provided us. Even though the chances of finding something is slim, but you give people some hope by willing to get out there and giving it go and if all goes well you definitely put smiles back on their face as you have helped to return something so meaningful to people. For that I think you are fantastic!

Even to now when we think about it we still cant believe it, it was a miracle I’ll say. You are our hero! :)

THANK YOU once again and keep up the good job!!!!

Claire Says:

Brad you provide a very special service.  I felt not only ridiculously irresponsible but sick and unable to function properly when I realized I’d lost my husband’s ring at South Curly Beach yesterday.  My efforts to blame him for giving me it to look after while he surfed went nowhere to hide the guilt I felt.  I was determinded to find it.  But on bended knees with my 5 year old fairy in tow sifting through the sand with my hands I began to realize that I wasn’t going to find it alone.  It seemed that finding a needle in a haystack would be easy compared this.    I thank the universe that special people like Brad exist (and his Gran!)  After finding his site a quick call was all it took.  He met me at the beach in less than an hour, managed to channel my thoughts on where the ring may have fallen and within a few minutes the ring was in my hand!  He is truly the greatest finder of lost treasure.

Damian Says:

Brad, Huge thanks to both you and Matt for finding my Wedding Ring. Firstly for coming all the way out to Penrith, not once, but twice because you would not be defeated by the challenge of very cold water in the middle of winter, ring lost 5 feet of water and covered in reeds. While I began to loose hope both you and Matt were determined to succeed.

On the second day that you came out after conditions got to cold on the first day, both of you jumped in the water with all your diving gear to search. As I wasn’t able to stay the whole time you searched due to other commitments you still continued to search, and I was over the moon to receive your phone call that you’d found my ring for me…

Although I was growing fond of the lounge, happy to be sleeping back in bed :)

Thanks again, your dedication once again turn out a great result.

Thank you so much, Brad.  I thought I would never get my ring back after I lost my wedding ring in the Fisher Market’s drain and tried my best to search for it by myself but could not find it.  With the last hope, I googled the metaldector and found you. As the metaldector didn’t work for the drain, you hesitated at nothing and digged the dirty and foul drain to search the ring by your hands till very late.  You have a great fighting spirit.  Even I have given up, you still went back to the Fisher Market alone to search my ring in the next day and finally brought me a good news.  My wedding ring has been found!!! How amazing you are!  Thank you again, Brad.

Thankyou so much Brad for your speedy assistance and for travelling so far to help me!!

Sorry you got drenched from the rain but I know for sure that without your help I never would have got these sentimental rings back. The beach here changes very quickly and I was afraid that the tide would come in and cover the rings with crashing waves and even more sand. Under the conditions, I was totally shocked that you recovered either ring. . . let alone both!!

I can’t thank you enough!! I’m sure that if the afterlife exists, my Nan would be smiling down on you and thanking you as well :-) You are amazing!!!!

Brad, Thank you so much for all the effort you and Matt put into finding my ring. I thought it was definitely a lost cause after 6 days and numerous tide changes. You are a miracle worker and have made my wife and I very happy. I will be telling everyone I know about your service.
I’m also glad the bikini clad assistants I organised for you made it as well…haha.

Thanks again!!
Andrew
